3 Months Old

It's been an exciting month around here for Colton. He's seen his first Super Bowl, been on his first airplane, taken his first trip out of state and today he had his first day at daycare! While he was only at school for an hour, he already made a couple new friends and got to know his teachers Miss Sallie and Miss Jamie...he's obviously going to adjust to this faster than us! Colt's growing quickly and already weighs 13 pounds and is 22 1/2 inches long. The best thing about him getting bigger - pinching and kissing those chubby cheeks of his - we just can't resist!

Mommy and Me in San Francisco

Well Colton is becoming quite the world traveler! Okay...maybe not a world traveler, but he did take his first trip to San Francisco this last week. On his first plane ride he did amazing, not a single peep came out of him, much to the surprise of the passengers around him I'm sure. He quickly became the hit of the plane, especially when he got to sit in the cockpit with the pilot!
We had so much fun and Colt was such a trooper as we packed him around town taking him in and out of his stroller for photo op after photo op. We made it to all of the traditional San Francisco tourist attractions: Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street.

While we were there we visited Auntie Cassidy in her dorm room at the University of San Francisco and were able to meet up with our friends Omar and Stephanie and their son Christian.

We had so much fun on our first trip and can't wait to do it again, but Colt was excited to get home and see his Daddy!  Click here to see more pictures.

Getting Bigger and Learning Lots

We're amazed everyday to see how big Colton is getting and what he'll accomplish that day. He loves to play on his activity mat and zone out on the music playing star...he will seriously stare at that thing forever!
He's holding his head up for longer periods of time and starting to push up off his chest a little when he has tummy time. We have to say though that the best thing he's doing now is smiling and cooing at us all the time...we can't get enough of it! We also visited his daycare for the first time today and although we're sad to have to leave him there while we go to work, we know that his teachers will love him and he'll make lots of new friends!
