A Day at the Beach

Last weekend we headed out to Grandpa and Grandma's house for a visit and it turned out to be such a nice day we headed down to the beach in Mukilteo. Colton had so much fun looking for rocks and playing in the sand with his Grandma and even tried flying a kite...with the help of his Daddy and Grandpa of course!

Happy 4th of July

We had a great 4th of July with lots of fireworks, food and fun! Colton spent the day playing with Winnie and riding his tractor, then as the sun started going down he had tons of fun playing with sparklers and pop-its and watching the fireworks!

A Weekend at the Island

We had a fun-packed weekend up on Lopez Island this past weekend! We rode the ferry, went to the beach, found shells, threw rocks in the water, played outside all day and topped it off with Colton's first s'mores around the fire. Hard to believe Colt even fell asleep that night with how many marshmallows he ate that night!

Fun on the Farm!

It's that time of year again, where Colton hops on his tractor and heads out to the farm at Nana and Papa's house! This year he planted beans with Nana and pumpkins with Papa...and watered everything, over and over and over again!

No, it's not Halloween...

While the front yard was being planted, this is what Colton decided to do...I mean who doesn't like to blow bubbles in a Nemo costume!

Dinosaurs!

Like any little boy, of course Colton loves dinosaurs, so we headed out to check out the new dinosaur exhibit at the Woodland Park Zoo. Colt loved looking at the nicer looking ones and the baby dinosaurs, but this is what he looked like when he saw the giant, roaring T-Rex!

We couldn't even get him close to it without him screaming!

Happy Easter!

In addition to dying eggs this year, the Easter Bunny made his first appearance! Colton had so much fun playing with the basket of Easter goodies the bunny left for him and finding all the eggs that had been hidden around the house. The morning of course took a little longer than anticipated since Colt had to open each and every egg he found and explore -- or should we say eat -- the contents!
