We can't believe that the crib has been retired to storage and that our little Colton is in a real big boy bed! It seems just like yesterday that he looked so little in his crib and then all of a sudden his limbs were sticking out the sides and we realized it was time for an upgrade. Colt was so excited when his new bed arrived he was practically giddy just looking at the cardboard box it was in! Even though we finally just finished putting all the final touches on his room, he's been in the bed for a couple weeks now and so far so good. We've found him standing in the middle of his room twice...but knock on wood...he hasn't fallen out yet! Check out some pics of Colton's first night in his big boy bed and his new room!

A Day at the Zoo
This was an extra special trip to the zoo because we met up with our friends the McClain's and their daughter Samantha...Colton's best buddy! Colt had a great time checking out all the animals and we even made it a little closer to the dinosaurs. Even though he was still scared and screamed, he at least got close enough for a picture this time! We all had such a fun day and can't wait to go back when Samantha's a little bigger and her and Colton can check out everything together!

Aloha...again!
Well for the second time in less than a year, Colton made a trip to Maui...yes...he's spoiled rotten! Colt had a great time playing and had plenty of playmates including Papa, Nana, Auntie Katie and Uncle Adam...oh yeah...and us! We had some great days at the beach and Colton was sure to stay hydrated with lots of watermelon and water.
Since Colton's still a bit to small to go snorkeling, we decided the next best thing would be a semi-submarine and it definitely didn't disappoint. Colt saw tons of fish, a turtle and even an octopus!
Most of our days were spent playing in the pool, and although it took a few days for Colt to get used to it, it wasn't long before he was down to just water wings and was jumping off the side and splashing everyone like crazy! He loved going around the lazy river over to the waterfall and even tried on Jake's snorkel mask!
Colton had so much fun in Hawaii, he ate more than we've ever seen him eat and completely wore himself out every day. We all had such a fun trip and can't wait for our next family vacation!
