At the last minute yesterday Jake ended up with four tickets to the Mariners game so we decided it was about time Colton got to visit Safeco Field! We were a little nervous as to how we would keep him entertained throughout the game...but it wasn't a problem at all. Colt loved every pitch that was thrown, sweet talking his way in with the ball girl for the next foul ball (to bad another one didn't come our way!), waving at the Moose, the airplanes flying by and of course the train! Colton must be a good luck charm too because the Mariners won the game and turned a triple play!

Auntie Katie & Uncle Adam's Wedding!
After months of planning, it finally happened...Katie and Adam got married! Although Adam has been known as Uncle Adam since the day Colton was born, we're so excited that it's finally official! It was an absolutely beautiful wedding (if I do say so myself), and I may be a little biased, but they definitely had the cutest ring bearer in the history of weddings!
Friday started off with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. It was a gorgeous day out by the water and Colton only had to practice his long walk one time before he was a pro!
Saturday was a long day...thankfully Jake got Colton to take a good nap before the festivities began. Colt look so handsome in his tuxedo and was completely infatuated by his ring bearer pillow and he walked down the aisle like he'd done it a thousand times...it probably helped that I had a few fruit snacks in my pocket though!
Although it was Katie and Adams wedding (and they looked gorgeous!) I'd have to say that Colton was the hit of the party! He loved making new friends and flirting with all the girls...like usual! Colt was so great all night dancing away, he made it almost to the end of the night before he totally zonked out on Jake. What a great weekend!
Colton's Adventures!
So it's been a while since the last post and it's been a busy spring/summer for Colton. We spent Mother's Day at Woodland Park Zoo, Jake and Colt had a boy's weekend on Lopez Island, Auntie Katie and Uncle Adam took Colton to the aquarium for the first time, we checked out the butterfly exhibit at the Pacific Science Center and Colton played race car in some leftover wedding present boxes.
Probably one of the funniest things that's happened in a while is that we bought Colton his first potty! He's been practicing at school so we figured we should give it a shot at home too. We haven't had any luck with it yet, but Colt loves sitting on it and trying...he also loves carrying it around the house!
