1 Month Old
Believe it or not Colt is already a month old! When Colt came home he weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long, he's now weighing in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces (our little piglet!) and is 20 3/4 inches long. We can't believe how fast this first month has gone by, but we've loved every minute of it...sleep or no sleep! It really is true that time flies when you're having fun!
Merry Christmas
Well it's a little bit late, but Merry Christmas everyone! We survived our first Christmas as a family and as expected Colton was spoiled rotten! We had so much fun finally introducing him to the entire family and Colt was a trooper as everyone held him! Enjoy the pictures below, Colt will probably hate us for this when he's older!

Santa Baby
Well it's official...Colton is a Santa baby! Last weekend Colt had his first run in with Santa when the Bonney Lake fire department came through Poppa Herb and Nana Wee-Weese's neighborhood on a fire truck. Although it was snowing outside we had to venture out for his first picture!
Then today we braved the bad roads and dressed Colton up in his reindeer snowsuit (thanks Auntie Katie!) and took him down to Nordstrom for his formal Santa photo. He did pretty good, but got a little irritated when we handed him over to Santa. We're guessing next year there will be a little more crying involved!

Colt and Coop
Many of you have heard how we've said that Cooper is a totally changed dog since we've been home with Colton. For those of you who have met Cooper, you might find this hard to believe, but we promise you we're not lying and now we have proof! Don't be alarmed by the picture below...it was all done under complete supervision!

First Bath
Today Colton had his first bath. While he cooperated with mom and dad, he didn't really seem to like it much! When all was said and done, he came out squeaky clean with his hair standing on end like a baby chick!

We're Home!
Well we're happy to report that we are all finally home for good! We made the trip home from the hospital Tuesday afternoon once Colt was discharged. Although we're still getting used to being parents without the help of any nurses, we couldn't be more excited to finally be home all as a family. We're looking forward to all that is coming up for us and can't wait for all of you to meet our latest addition! We're also happy to report that Cooper is adjusting well and has already given Colt a few sniffs and a couple of licks!

5 Days Old and Counting
Both of us feel that Colton is making great progress in his stay. When he was admitted, Colton was eating just 25 cc's of formula a feeding. Today he started on 42 cc's with the hopes of reaching 46 cc's by tomorrow. Unfortunately, his stay is not just based on that, but that is one of his goals in order for him to head on home with us. Here are some updated pictures. In case you were wondering, Jake is not strangling Colton, just burping him.

Almost Home
We almost all made it home, but unfortunately Colton needs to stay a little longer at the hospital. Little Colton was admitted to the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) later yesterday so he can get a little better at his bottle use and to put on a little more weight. Both of us will be staying with Colton until he is able to come home. Best case scenario, he will be able to come home in a week, but we know how important it is that Colton can use his bottle while maintaining a steady weight. While we are staying with Colton in the ISCU, we are not permitted to have our cell phones on, so if you call us, please leave a message because we will be venturing out from time to time.

Happy Thanksgiving
Colton is very much enjoying his first Thanksgiving. So far, so good. After a night where his dad learned the true meaning of "no sleep," Colton has spent the better half of his first Thanksgiving doing what he does best, sleeping and pooping, which is good. Once again, thank you to everyone who has come up over the past 2 days and thank you for all your wishes and continued prayers.

He's Here!!!
Well, on schedule, Colton came into our lives at 8:43am, weighing in at 5lbs 11oz and 19.5 inches in length. Both mom and Colton are doing great. Even though Colton is currently in our room, there still is chance that he may have to spend a few days upstairs in the intensive care unit just until his lungs are slightly more mature. We are definitely cherishing the time with him in our room for the time being. Click here to see more pictures
